Tandem – Cultural Managers Exchange Programme - with Turkey
11 April 2011
Tandem – Cultural Managers Exchange Programme - with Turkey is a new initiative being launched by Stiftung Mercator (Essen) and the European Cultural Foundation (Amsterdam) together with MitOst (Berlin), Anadolu Kültür (Istanbul) and Istanbul Bilgi University (Istanbul) .
The training and exchange initiative triggers and supports long-term cultural collaboration with Turkey and EU countries - especially Germany - for cultural managers. Working with 30 organisations/groups from Turkey (particularly from Anatolian cities) and EU countries (particularly from Germany) 15 cultural cooperation tandems will be set up for a two year period to collaborate, visit, learn and artistically co-produce together over that period. The co-productions will be presented in Turkey in September 2012 and in Berlin in December 2012.
Interested cultural organisations/groups need to apply by 31 May 2011. For further information on the project, conditions of participation and application forms please visit www.mitost.org for EU applications and www.anadolukultur.org for Turkish applications.
The European Cultural Foundation thanks the following institutions for their longstanding support:
