theoneminutesjr network gives young people, especially those who are underprivileged or marginalized, the opportunity to have their voices heard and to share their ideas, dreams, fascinations, anxieties, and viewpoints with the world.

The maker might be an orphan from Istanbul, a Roma youngster from Bulgaria, a teenager from Stockholm or a Moroccan amateur actor living in Amsterdam.

The scope of the videos is extraordinarily eclectic and has ranged from views on anti-smoking to life issues, criticism about urban living to an abstract look at beautiful wooden chairs in the snow.

All the videos, 1038 to date, are showcased online at http://www.theoneminutesjr.org They are as diverse and colourful as their makers.
