Forging and encouraging partnerships is an extremely important element of the ECF's way of working.
We have strong and long-established links with countries across Europe through our extensive collaborations with (cultural) organizations throughout the wider European region and our international Board and Advisory Council. Through our cross-border work we also have good links with partners in countries bordering the EU.
We collaborate with several major European cultural organisations and networks, e.g. Culture Action Europe, and we also work closely with policymakers, cultural actors, foundations, universities and media networks.
We believe that a culturally diverse Europe will be better served by its cultural organisations if they cooperate locally, nationally, and internationally, comparing experiences and practices and exchanging new ideas and fresh thinking.
