About this Publication
What is the role, the potential and limits of art when it comes to understanding the diversity of the societies we are living in? The ECF has for a year now been conducting a process of internal and external reflection of the way in which cultural organizations deal with diversity in and through their work.
This reflection went into the making a best-practice book that we want to share with other cultural organisations dealing with similar questions.
For this publication we joined creativity and forces with Turkish photographer Ahmet Polat (Fatush Productions) and publishing partner Mets & Schilt Publishers and produced a two-volume publication with a double aim:
Managing Diversity 
explores the complex ins and outs of managing diversity through a pallet of essay and stories of practitioners in the field of arts and culture (ECF).
Neither Here nor There
explores diversity through art - through the eye of Ahmet Polat who has made photographing diversity in society a leitmotif of his work.
