Commissioned Research
As part of our commitment to cultural policy research and education, we commission practice-oriented papers, studies, surveys and ba

ckground documents. The aim is to achieve informed policymaking at EU, national and local levels.

The research we commission is not strictly academic, but has real practical relevance to cultural practitioners and policymakers.

A choice of ECF commissioned papers:

Cultural Policy Education Group - CPEG
provides an expert platform for tackling all aspects of the emerging academic discipline of cultural policy research, especially in Eastern Europe and some of its neighbouring regions. An initiative of the ECF, it addresses lecturers, students, scholars and cultural practitioners who deal with cultural policy issues and professional education. From 2006, the project's local partners will progressively take over the organisation of the group, which we will continue to support.
