Until Now summer tour
The ECF co-funded Mimbre`s acrobatic adventure Until Now through our artistic grants program. Mimbre is: Emma Norin, Lina Johansson and Silvia Fratelli. Their common roots are in the circus school The Circus Space in the UK were all three graduated. Since, they have built a very singular poetic acrobatic language and performed succesfully on many international stages.
This summer Mimbre will travel through Europe to perform their show which brings a poetic universe that is fashioned from joyful flips and harmonious balances to speak of journeys, good-byes and the astonishing feats of friendship.
The performance was inspired by personal experiences and revolves around themes of immigration, traveling and the dreams and hopes that are connected to leaving one place and heading for the unknown. In this show, the immigrant is depicted as an adventurer, a force for development, a bringer of new energy and a catalyst for change.
