Once started as a co-initiative of the ECF the Platform for Intercultural Europe now organizes it's first general assembly on June 8th. This forum will be held in Brussels and will take a more critical look at the role of the arts in intercultural dialogue.
Later that day there will be several small discussion groups that will discuss the definition of Intercultural Dialogue in the Platform for Intercultural Europe's "Rainbow Paper". The paper that was drawn up during the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue strives towards a more inclusive Europe that fully embraces cultural diversity, making the most of the opportunities which this diversity offers.

The forum is supported by the European Commission in the context of the Structured Dialogue between the European Union and the culture sector in the framework of the European Agenda for Culture. for more information about the forum see the platform's website.
