Grants highlight: Cairo residency symposium
Interest in Euro-Med artistic mobility is on the increase. At this 3-day symposium in Cairo (25-27 March), attention will be paid to the main aims and challenges of mobility in connection with residencies.
How are expectations to be managed? What is the role of the host institution? How might residencies and their aftermath be evaluated? ECF Deputy Director Odile Chenal will co-chair the session ‘Artist Residencies and Cultural Dialogue’. Organised by the Townhouse Gallery and the Netherlands Foundation for Visual Arts, Design and Architecture.
