  • Cultural Policy&Management Yearbook 2009Introduction to Cultural Policy in TurkeyOur partner project on cultural policymaking in Turkey takes a step forward with two new publications: a groundbreaking work, Introduction to Cultural Policy in Turkey and the first-ever issue of the Cultural Policy & Management Yearbook in Turkey  is dedicated to ‘cultural policy and cities'. With Istanbul celebrating its status as European Capital of Culture, the book's appearance is timely. Its ambitious aim is to bring policy research into under-explored urban landscapes and cultural horizons.

  • The ECF supported research paper `Crossing cultural borders? Migrants and ethnic diversity in the cultural industries.´ by Amanda Brandellero is now officially published. Amanda Brandellero is an English-Italian PhD researcher at the Amsterdam Institute for Metropolitan and International Development Studies (University of Amsterdam). She was awarded the CPRA award in 2007 for her research paper ´Crossing cultural borders? Migrants and ethnic diversity in the cultural industries.` Amanda has accomplished an in depth theoretical study applying a specific interdisciplinary approach, and an inspiring empirical study on migrant entrepreneurship in the culturalindustries in three European cities - Paris, London and Amsterdam.
