The ECF´s Advisory Council is composed of professionals who have excelled in their chosen cultural, intellectual, economic or political field. It is genuinely representative of European diversity.
The Advisory Council meets at least once a year, in conjunction with a meeting of the Board.
Each Council member is elected to office for a four-year period, and can be re-elected only once more after that.
The members of the Advisory Council -apart from the President of the Foundation, H.R.H. Princess Laurentien of the Netherlands- are appointed by the Board.
