Artists, cultural institutions and intercultural dialogue

Together with our partner EFAH we produced a wrap up-paper following the Brussels debate Negotiating differences - a responsibility of artists and cultural institutions. These so-called Brussel debates are organised by the European Commission throughout the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue 2008 (EYID).  ECF and EFAH were invited as specialists in the field of intercultural dialogue to design this debate. Cultural Pluralism and cultural participation

is the title of Jette Sandahl´s (Director of the City Museum of Copenhagen) inspiring speech. It raises crucial questions on the role of cultural institutions in a multi cultural Europe / world. She approaches the topic from various relevant angles with an open, critical eye on the role of cultural organisations. Ms Sandahl held her speech as  key-speaker at the Brussels' debate Negotiating differences - a responsibility of artists and cultural institutions, designed by the ECF and EFAH, held on April 2, 2008.more

Ukraine’s new rock’n’roll literature
